NF1532WO

Heat-activated adhesive tape with a wound-out liner configuration — the liner is positioned on the outside of the roll, placing it between the adhesive and the equipment contact surface during unwind. No room-temperature tack; bonds under heat and pressure. For nonwoven bonding, insulation laminating, and HVAC assembly where wound-out liner orientation is required by the sealing equipment or process flow.

Adhesive: Heat Activated
  • Carpet Seaming: Heat-activated seaming of carpet and flooring materials; wound-out liner format suits equipment where liner is removed after unwind rather than during feeding.
  • Industrial Assembly: Assembly of nonwoven and textile components where heat activation during assembly eliminates room-temperature tack handling constraints.
  • Laminating & Converting: Heat-activated laminating in converting operations where wound-out liner orientation matches equipment feed direction or liner removal sequence.
  • Specialty Bonding: Bonding heat-compatible substrates in process flows where wound-out liner configuration is specified by equipment design or operator workflow.

Are custom widths and short runs available?

Yes. Nova offers custom slit widths and welcomes short runs across the full product line. Most quotes are returned within 24–48 hours. Reach out today to discuss your specific requirements.

What's the difference between a self-wound tape and a linered tape?

Self-wound tapes have no release liner — the adhesive winds directly against the back of the tape, reducing cost and eliminating liner waste. Linered tapes carry a separate release liner to protect the adhesive, which is useful when the backing and adhesive are incompatible or when precise peel-and-apply handling is required.

When should I use NF1532WO (wound-out liner) over the wound-in version?

NF1532WO is preferred when the liner must be removed before the bonding step — common in hand-application workflows or equipment setups where the adhesive face must be exposed first. The wound-out format keeps the liner separate from the heat-activation step.
