NFS1667

Solvent-based acrylic transfer adhesive with no film carrier, on a 60# PCK liner. At 350°F service temperature — the highest in the transfer tape line — NFS1667 provides 65 oz/in peel and 50 oz/sq.in loop tack with UV and weather resistance that adhesives cannot achieve. Application 50–80°F. For outdoor signage, high-temperature industrial bonding, and weather-exposed assemblies where adhesives fail.

Adhesive: Solvent Acrylic
  • Gaskets & Sealing: Bonding gaskets and sealing materials in high-temperature applications up to 350°F — the highest service temperature in the transfer tape line; for gasket applications where acrylic chemistry service limits are exceeded.
  • Industrial Assembly: High-temperature industrial bonding at 350°F service using a no-carrier solvent transfer adhesive; for assemblies near heat sources, engines, or other elevated-temperature environments.
  • Laminating & Converting: Laminating for products requiring 350°F service; solvent chemistry provides UV resistance and heat resistance for converting applications where acrylic transfer adhesives fail in service.
  • Outdoor & Weather-Exposed: Outdoor bonding requiring UV stability and 350°F service temperature; for weather-exposed assemblies where the combination of UV resistance and extreme heat resistance is required.

Are custom widths and short runs available?

Yes. Nova offers custom slit widths and welcomes short runs across the full product line. Most quotes are returned within 24–48 hours. Reach out today to discuss your specific requirements.

When should I use a transfer tape instead of a film-carrier tape?

Transfer tapes are adhesive-only — no carrier film — so the adhesive is invisible once the liner is removed. Use a transfer tape when a clean, seamless finish matters, when a thinner construction is needed, or when a carrier film would interfere with the application. Film-carrier tapes offer more handling control and are better suited where dimensional stability or higher shear resistance is required.

Why is solvent acrylic chemistry required for NFS1667 in outdoor signage?

Outdoor signage adhesives face UV exposure, moisture cycling, and wide temperature swings that degrade emulsion acrylic bonds over time. NFS1667’s solvent acrylic chemistry resists UV yellowing and maintains adhesion in wet and freeze-thaw conditions where water-based adhesives can fail or lose bond strength.
