NFS1801
Solvent-based acrylic adhesive on a 0.5 mil PET carrier — the SCK liner variant sharing the same 70/65 oz/in peel and 250°F service as NFS1801PC on an identical carrier. The SCK liner provides different release characteristics than the PCK liner of NFS1801PC for operations where liner release force or liner material affects the equipment or process. Application down to 20°F.

- Foam & Textile Fabrication: Bonding foam, felt, and textile substrates with 70/65 oz/in solvent perm/perm on a 0.5 mil PET carrier in SCK liner format; for applications requiring carrier support and SCK release properties.
- Industrial Assembly: High-performance industrial bonding at 70/65 oz/in on a 0.5 mil PET carrier; 250°F service temperature for assemblies in elevated-temperature environments using the SCK liner format.
- Laminating & Converting: Laminating requiring 70/65 oz/in solvent adhesion on a thin PET carrier; SCK liner for operations where SCK release force or material is specified.
- Outdoor & Weather-Exposed: Outdoor bonding with 250°F service on a PET carrier; solvent chemistry provides UV and weather resistance for exterior assemblies requiring carrier support.
Are custom widths and short runs available?
Yes. Nova offers custom slit widths and welcomes short runs across the full product line. Most quotes are returned within 24–48 hours. Reach out today to discuss your specific requirements.
What's the difference between perm/perm and perm/removable constructions?
Perm/perm tapes carry permanent adhesive on both faces for a strong, lasting bond on both substrates. Perm/removable tapes have permanent adhesive on one face and a removable adhesive on the other, so one substrate bonds permanently while the other can be cleanly lifted and repositioned without residue.
What advantage does NFS1801's solvent acrylic chemistry provide for felt and outdoor bonding?
Solvent acrylic adhesive wets out porous and fibrous substrates like felt more effectively than emulsion acrylics, and resists moisture-driven bond degradation in outdoor service. NFS1801 provides strong, durable adhesion on metal, felt, and outdoor substrates where emulsion-based tapes may fail over time.
