NFS1915

Maximum-performance solvent acrylic transfer adhesive — 150 oz/in peel, 85 oz/sq.in loop tack, 300°F service temperature, no carrier layer. Transfers from a 60# PCK liner for a thin, uninterrupted adhesive layer. NFS1915 is the highest-rated transfer adhesive in the Nova line for combined peel strength and service temperature. For outdoor bonding, low surface energy substrates, and industrial applications where no other transfer adhesive meets the requirement.

Adhesive: Solvent Acrylic
  • Foam & Textile Fabrication: Bonding foam, textile, and LSE substrates at 150 oz/in — the maximum peel in the transfer tape line — for applications where all other acrylic and solvent transfer adhesives have been insufficient.
  • Gaskets & Sealing: Maximum-peel gasket bonding at 150 oz/in and 300°F service; for high-temperature gasket applications where lower-rated transfer adhesives have failed in service.
  • Industrial Assembly: Highest-rated industrial assembly in the transfer tape line at 150 oz/in peel and 300°F service; for demanding assemblies near heat sources where solvent chemistry and maximum peel are both required.
  • Laminating & Converting: Laminating at the maximum performance level in the transfer tape line; 150 oz/in peel and 300°F service for converting applications where no other transfer adhesive meets the requirement.

Are custom widths and short runs available?

Yes. Nova offers custom slit widths and welcomes short runs across the full product line. Most quotes are returned within 24–48 hours. Reach out today to discuss your specific requirements.

When should I use a transfer tape instead of a film-carrier tape?

Transfer tapes are adhesive-only — no carrier film — so the adhesive is invisible once the liner is removed. Use a transfer tape when a clean, seamless finish matters, when a thinner construction is needed, or when a carrier film would interfere with the application. Film-carrier tapes offer more handling control and are better suited where dimensional stability or higher shear resistance is required.

What applications require NFS1915's highest service temperature rating in the transfer tape line?

NFS1915 is suited for applications near heat sources, automotive engine bays, industrial ovens, or other environments where standard acrylic adhesives soften or lose cohesion. Contact Nova for confirmed temperature limits for your specific load and exposure conditions.
