POLYSCRIMHS2
Scrim-reinforced heat-activated adhesive tape. The fiberglass scrim carrier adds dimensional stability and tear resistance to the heat seal construction, maintaining dimensional stability during laminating and sealing operations. No room-temperature tack; activates under heat and pressure. For nonwoven bonding, insulation laminating, and HVAC assembly where scrim reinforcement is required and formulation 2 bond characteristics match the substrate.

What's the difference between a self-wound tape and a linered tape?
Self-wound tapes have no release liner — the adhesive winds directly against the back of the tape, reducing cost and eliminating liner waste. Linered tapes carry a separate release liner to protect the adhesive, which is useful when the backing and adhesive are incompatible or when precise peel-and-apply handling is required.
How does POLYSCRIMHS2 differ from POLYSCRIMHS for insulation applications?
POLYSCRIMHS includes a metallized PET outer layer for reflectivity and vapor resistance; POLYSCRIMHS2 uses a non-metallized scrim-reinforced construction. POLYSCRIMHS2 is suited for insulation laminating and nonwoven bonding where metallization is not required.
