What's the difference between perm/perm and perm/removable constructions?
Perm/perm tapes carry permanent adhesive on both faces for a strong, lasting bond on both substrates. Perm/removable tapes have permanent adhesive on one face and a removable adhesive on the other, so one substrate bonds permanently while the other can be cleanly lifted and repositioned without residue.
Why does NF1704PC use rubber adhesive instead of acrylic for foam and felt bonding?
Rubber-based adhesive provides immediate high tack on porous and fibrous substrates like foam and felt, which can be difficult for acrylic adhesives to wet out quickly. NF1704PC bonds fast to these materials with less pressure required compared to acrylic formulations.
