Acrylic double-coated tape on a PET carrier with a printed polyester (PET) release liner — clear construction, 80 oz/in peel strength, 200°F service. The PET liner provides moisture resistance versus kraft-based liners; the clear construction is invisible once applied in visible-finish signage assemblies. Application 25–90°F. For outdoor-rated signage, display mounting, and industrial assembly in humid or outdoor environments.

What's the difference between perm/perm and perm/removable constructions?
Perm/perm tapes carry permanent adhesive on both faces for a strong, lasting bond on both substrates. Perm/removable tapes have permanent adhesive on one face and a removable adhesive on the other, so one substrate bonds permanently while the other can be cleanly lifted and repositioned without residue.
Why does NF1738PET use a PET liner rather than a paper liner for outdoor signage?
A PET liner resists moisture and dimensional change in outdoor storage and handling — paper liners can absorb humidity and curl, causing handling problems before application. The clear PET liner also allows visual alignment through the tape during precision mounting.
