NF1773PC
Highest-peel acrylic in the 0.5 mil PET line — 125 oz/in (unwind side) and 135 oz/in (liner side), 60# PCK liner, 200°F service. The higher peel on the liner side is characteristic of this specific formulation. For industrial assembly and low surface energy bonding where NF1772PC and NF1772 peel levels have proven insufficient and no other double-coated tape in the line meets the requirement.

- Foam & Textile Fabrication: Highest-peel bonding of foam and textile substrates at 125/135 oz/in — for foam bonding applications where NF1772PC and NF1772 have been evaluated and found insufficient.
- Gaskets & Sealing: Highest-peel gasket bonding in the perm/perm PET line at 125/135 oz/in; for applications where lower-peel PET carrier products have not developed adequate bond to the gasket substrate.
- Industrial Assembly: Industrial assembly bonding at the ceiling of the perm/perm PET line; for assemblies where NF1772PC’s 110/110 oz/in peel does not meet the substrate bond requirement.
- Laminating & Converting: Laminating with 125/135 oz/in peel — the highest available in an acrylic perm/perm PET line product; for applications requiring maximum bond strength in a carrier construction.
Are custom widths and short runs available?
Yes. Nova offers custom slit widths and welcomes short runs across the full product line. Most quotes are returned within 24–48 hours. Reach out today to discuss your specific requirements.
What's the difference between perm/perm and perm/removable constructions?
Perm/perm tapes carry permanent adhesive on both faces for a strong, lasting bond on both substrates. Perm/removable tapes have permanent adhesive on one face and a removable adhesive on the other, so one substrate bonds permanently while the other can be cleanly lifted and repositioned without residue.
What applications justify NF1773PC's highest-peel formulation over other PC liner tapes?
NF1773PC is the right choice when maximum long-term bond strength is required — such as structural laminating, permanent foam assembly, or industrial applications experiencing sustained peel or shear loads. It is not suited where any future disassembly is expected.
