NFS1905
High-tack solvent acrylic transfer adhesive with no film carrier, on a 60# PCK liner. At 125 oz/in peel — the second-highest in this solvent transfer tape line — NFS1905 develops aggressive, durable bonds on low surface energy substrates, rubber, and painted metal. Service to 250°F. For demanding industrial bonding, rubber and gasket fabrication, and outdoor signage where high peel strength is the primary requirement.

- Gaskets & Sealing: High-peel bonding of rubber and LSE substrate gaskets at 125 oz/in from a no-carrier solvent transfer adhesive; for gasket applications requiring maximum peel without a carrier layer.
- Industrial Assembly: Demanding industrial bonding at 125 oz/in solvent transfer adhesive peel; for assemblies requiring high-peel adhesion to rubber, painted metal, and low surface energy materials.
- Laminating & Converting: Laminating requiring high-peel solvent adhesion to challenging substrates on a PCK liner; custom widths for converting operations requiring aggressive no-carrier transfer adhesive.
- Outdoor & Weather-Exposed: High-peel outdoor bonding with UV-stable solvent chemistry at 125 oz/in; for exterior assemblies requiring maximum bond strength to challenging surfaces under weather exposure.
Are custom widths and short runs available?
Yes. Nova offers custom slit widths and welcomes short runs across the full product line. Most quotes are returned within 24–48 hours. Reach out today to discuss your specific requirements.
When should I use a transfer tape instead of a film-carrier tape?
Transfer tapes are adhesive-only — no carrier film — so the adhesive is invisible once the liner is removed. Use a transfer tape when a clean, seamless finish matters, when a thinner construction is needed, or when a carrier film would interfere with the application. Film-carrier tapes offer more handling control and are better suited where dimensional stability or higher shear resistance is required.
How does NFS1905 differ from NFS1902 for rubber bonding and outdoor applications?
NFS1905 is formulated with higher adhesion values than NFS1902, making it suited for more demanding low surface energy bonding and outdoor applications where NFS1902’s adhesion is insufficient. Both use solvent acrylic chemistry; NFS1905 steps up the tack and peel performance for tougher substrates.
