Heat seal tape is an adhesive construction that activates by heat and pressure rather than tack, with no adhesion at room temperature and full bond strength reached only under a heat press or sealing bar. Nova offers heat seal tape in scrim-reinforced constructions for nonwoven bonding, insulation laminating, and HVAC assembly applications where pressure-sensitive adhesive is not suitable.
